WhistleStop is made up of the songs we love best: rootsy acoustic Americana, classic country, and harmony-driven tributes to traditional tunes. These are songs that belong to all of us, songs that make you feel something, remember something, or shake something! We’re Kelli Domke and Dean Kotchka, good friends who met around the song circle at Cincinnati’s storied listening room, The Leo Coffeehouse. There, we first played as a duo at Queen City Balladeer’s 60th Anniversary, and after that we were all in! We love nothing more than spending an entire afternoon trying out a “new” old song a dozen ways or more until it feels just right, and then sharing it with you. Although we began as a duo, we often play out as a trio or full band, joined by our talented friends on mandolin and upright bass. Hope to see y’all out there!
